Quizás una de las quejas mas comunes de habitantes de las regiones es la falta de espacios o la falta de eventos y cosas que hacer o mirar, a pesar de haber sido practicamente el epicentro del pasado terremoto los penquistas ya están de pie y la actividad nocturna y cultural se ha vuelto a desarrollar de manera “casi” normal. En esta lÃnea el staff de Pechakucha Concepción esta llamando a una convocatoria para proyectos de diseño en sus diversas areas, la idea es desarrollar eventos centrados en temáticas especÃficas como FotografÃa, Diseño, Emprendimiento y Arquitectura, siendo la primera cita la del diseño.
Si estas interesado en ser expositor, envÃa un mail contando de que se trata tu proyecto, sitio web y experiencia, sólo hay cupo para 10 expositores.
¿Qué es Pechakucha?
Pecha Kucha (pronunciado pe-chak-cha) comenzó en Tokio, Japón en febrero de 2003 de la mano de Astrid Klein y Mark Dytham como un evento dedicado al diseño que sirviese de promoción para atraer más gente a SuperDeluxe, el espacio multimedia experimental que habÃan establecido en Roppongi.
La necesidad de tener un lugar en la ciudad para mostrar y compartir los trabajos de uno mismo parece ser global – probado por el hecho de que el formato Pecha Kucha ha sido replicado ya en más de 230 ciudades de todos los continentes .
La idea fundamental de Pecha Kucha es permitir compartir las ideas de diversos presentadores durante una noche, manteniendo un nivel de interés y atención alto mediante presentaciones muy concisas. Para ello se creó el formato 20×20 de Pecha Kucha: a cada presentador se le permite usar 20 imágenes o diapositivas, cada una de de las cuales es mostrada durante 20 segundos. En total, cada presentación transcurre durante 6 min y 40 segundos, tras lo cual se hace una breve pausa y el siguiente presentador sube al escenario. Cada evento consta normalmente de 14 presentaciones. Los presentadores (y gran parte de la audiencia) vienen normalmente de los campos del diseño, arquitectura, fotografÃa y arte, aunque el fenómeno se ha extendido recientemente al mundo de los negocios.
En Concepción ya van 2 versiones del evento, las cuales han resultado de manera exitosa reuniendo gran cantidad de público.
